FlashLite: A High Performance Machine for Data Intensive Science (2014–2015)

Abstract:
The amount of data gathered by sensor networks and new instruments is rising exponentially, making it increasingly difficult to process it with conventional supercomputers. This proposal builds a high performance computer focussed on data intensive science.
